Summer 2006 in Italy: The Peaceful of Assisi

Let's visit the small town in Umbria! Assisi!! It's a town where a Saint (Santo), San Francesco of Assisi ever lived. So, it’s a holy town.

Theme of Today: Casuality in Red Blue. Red top, blue jeans, red blue Exsport bag, see-through sandals.

We went there by train. The ticket was bought by using vending machine.

Before we walked far away, we stopped by in McDonald's. The interior is so Italian.

Ok, let's walk and walk and walk!

Italian boys and girls looked like having a tour in a souvenir shop. I like their uniforms! So bold!

The arch.

Having a good spot at the fountain.

In front of the Basilica di San Francesco.

Basilica di San Francesco was spotted from far away. P A X means peace. The first stone was laid in 1228 by Pope Gregory IX. And the amazing thing is that we can still see the robe of San Francesco inside the Basilica!

The view around the Basilica.

The old man and his unique stuffs on the truck.

These swords in a souvenir shop are so awesome! But, how come I bring the sword to Indonesia?
