July
2006, I flew to Italy by Kuwait Airlines with a bunch of friends. As I mention
before, I got scholarship from Ministry of Foreign Affair of Italy to study
Italian language in Università per Stranieri di Perugia.
Transit in Kuwait International Airport. I wore
my faux-fur jacket for keeping me warm during the trip.
Our
first night in Italy. Theme of Today: Ladies in Pink! I wore shocking pink tank top as the inner, dusty pink blouse as the outer, and blue jeans.
Ok,
it's time for walking around the city or fare una passegiata in Italian
language.
Now, I reverse the outfit, dusty pink blouse as the inner and
shocking pink tank top as the outer. For the bottom, I wore batik pants. My
see-through sandals were comfort for going along the street.
The
alleys in Perugia are so timeless. Like nothing change from hundred years ago.
Another
day, another walk. Theme of Today: Casual. I put on my white t-shirt, green
capri pants, and see-through sandals. Hat is a must in summer.
Here
it is! Università per Stranieri di Perugia, established in 1921 by Astorre
Lupattelli.
And this is one of the classrooms.
Further info:
Wow!
I was lucky to celebrate the victory of Italy during semi final and final of
World Cup 2006.
Football match screening was held in many places. Street was
full of people. Many Italian flags in everywhere. Colorful smoke bomb cherished
the night.
I put on my jacket even though it was summer! Yeah, the wind and the
air were so cool in Perugia.
This
university has 5 campuses, Palazzo Galenga (in the previous picture),
Prosciutti, Lupattelli, Orvieto, Valitutti. We just got lesson from the campus. Before went for a walk, we took a picture first.
I put on my white
t-shirt, pink halter neck, blue mini skirt, 3/4 legging, white converse
shoes, hat, and tote bag.
I
saw a swing on my way to the campus. Couldn't stand to sit on and swing it.
Theme of Today: Layered. Green Hammer crop top as the outer, green tank top as
the inner, blue mini skirt, 3/4 legging, and white converse shoes.
After school time!
Theme of Today: Ethnic Punk.
Batik skirt, black tank top, yellow armband, black wristband, necklace,
see-through sandals, glasses, and hat.
It's
a monument to commemorate the heroes of Perugia. Il Grifone, the symbol of
Perugia also accompanied the heroes.
Theme of Today: Global Patriotism. Batik
skirt, Japanese print in Chinese collar top, and see-through sandals.
Thirsty? You can find water taps easily around
the city. This is one of them. Built long time ago with Grifone symbol
sculptured on it.
Houses,
stairs, and aqueduct.
BUBBLE,
a fashion store with affordable price but in fashion. Imagine! With only 2 or 3
Euro, you can get chic fashion items!
Ok,
let's go to the next destination!
PLANET CYBERG, my favorite fashion store in town.
This is the right place if you wanna get edgy fashion items.
Looking
for colorful fashion items? UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON has the answer.
Welcome
to my home sweet home in via Bontempi! This is the gate or usually called as la
porta grande. It was built long time ago. You can see the symbols above the
gate. The modern things that attached to this building are the bells and
intercom that connected to each unit.
Theme
of Today: Beigy Beige! Beige hat, beige Mango t-shirt, beige Planet Cyberg bermuda
shorts, and pinky brown Benetton boots. I got these boots for 5 Euro only!
Yippie!
Entered
the gate, we arrived in kinda dungeon but actually it's not a dungeon (?). The air
is different and cold as the air comes from the past.
I wore black tanktop
underneath lips & heart printed top, jeans, and hat from Venice (Venezia).
My
room was in upstairs. So, let's go up!
Theme of Today: Pinkish. Pink t-shirt,
blue miniskirt, pinky brown Benetton boots.
This
was my room. And this was selfie.
Theme of Today: Casual Dress Up! Green Hammer
crop top underneath Planet Cyberg dress and white Converse shoes.
I
attended The London School Symphony Orchestra at Chiesa di San Domenico in
Festival Internazionale dei Cori delle Orchestre Giovanili in Perugia. They
were awesome!
Theme of Today: Ladylike. Black blouse with Russian pin, dusty
pink skirt with Italian armor belt from Terranova.
And you
what, I love my natural tan skin! Thanks to the summer sun!
